About the Role This vacancy is a Senior Bookkeeper position which will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients. Your duties will include: Undertaking reconciliations daily of all Xero files Processing of payroll, super, BAS and PAYG Liaising with clients and advisors to assist with queries General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations Review and assessment of systems and processes to ensure optimum efficiency Assisting the broader team if required Building strong relationships with both clients and advisors\ Providing leadership and mentorship to other team members About You You will be a Senior level Bookkeeper with a passion for delivering exceptional results for your clients. Your ability to ensure client relationships are top priority will be valued. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team who emphasise staff well being. The Role This is a role that will provide you with the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients from a variety of industries. You will undertake the full facet of bookkeeping duties including: Handling client queries Bank reconciliations Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Credit card reconciliations Cash flow reporting Payroll tax reporting PAYG preparation BAS preparation Payroll Undertaking work on the ATO portal on clients behalf Software training should it be necessary About You To be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience working in a public practice accounting environment undertaking a similar role.
