Financial Accountant (NFP) with ref.

The Opportunity:

Our client is a highly reputable, national not-for-profit organisation that provides training and educational services across Australia.

Due to continued growth and success, they now require an experienced Financial Accountant, focusing on financial reporting, analysis and forecasting across various business units.

You will be reporting to a Finance Manager and supported by AP, AR and Assistant Accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

Report to the Finance Manager with analysis of budgets and financial trends
Prepare annual financial statements including consolidated accounts and lease accounting
Cash flow management and forecasting
Help supervise the Accounts Team to ensure best practice management of payroll, AR, AR, reconciliations and month-end procedures
Liaise with external accountants relating to ATO / ASIC lodgements

Your Experience:

Ideally CA or CPA Qualified
Financial Accountant experience required
Strong communication skills
Strong service focus with a proactive approach to delivering on time
Strong reporting skills with a high proficiency in accounting software
Highly tech-savvy and quick to learn/pick up systems and processes
