As the organization continues to grow, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join the office in Brisbane CBD as a Finance Manager on a full-time basis.

THE ROLE

This is a well-rounded, end-to-end role, responsible for the financial and management accounting across 4 core entities.
Would suit someone who is comfortable being autonomous managing the end-to-end finance function.  You will have the support of bookkeeping and administration for the transactional work onsite, but no direct reports as such. 
Duties include:
  • Oversee day to day bank recs, AP and AR, bookkeeping, journals
  • Submission of BAS/IAS/Payroll tax
  • Payroll processing for 35 using e-payroll
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Manage cashflow, banking activities, and investments
  • Month-end and year-end processes – P&L, Balance Sheet, commentary
  • General Management reporting 
  • Trust accounting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
ABOUT YOU
  • Experience in an accounting firm highly regarded along with some commercial experience beneficial.
  • Accounting or commerce related degree
  • CA/CPA qualification
  • Sharp attention to detail 
  • Ability to meet established deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas
