Senior Bookkeeper

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Bookkeeper you will provide high level Bookkeeping services to a portfolio of 12-15 clients. You will be working within a bookkeeping team and you duties will include:

  • Liaising directly with clients 

  • Building strong client relationships

  • Assisting clients with queries

  • Reconciliations

  • Undertaking AP and AR 

  • IAS and BAS preparation

  • Bank and Credit Card reconciliations

  • Payroll

  • Training and assistance with software queries 

  • Assist with training on both onshore and offshore team members

ABOUT YOU
To be successful for this role, you will be a confident and professional Bookkeeper. You will have a strong background in working with a varied client portfolio. You will ideally have experience working in the public practice accounting sector and have: 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Extensive experience with Xero 

  • Xero certification

  • Strong communication skills

  • Experience using MYOB 

  • BAS Agent Registration (preferable, not essential)
