Graduate/Junior Accountant (12+ Months of Experience)

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Accountant with at least 12 months of public practice experience to join a progressive and growing accounting firm that genuinely invests in its people. You’ll be part of a high-performing, supportive team where your development is prioritised from day one.
Working closely with experienced Managers and Directors, you’ll gain hands-on exposure across a diverse client base while continuing to build your technical skills in tax and business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
  • Assist with BAS and IAS preparation and lodgements
  • Work with senior team members on client engagements and advisory projects
  • Maintain and update client records using cloud-based systems
  • Liaise with clients and the ATO
  • Contribute to process improvements and team initiatives

About You
  • 12+ months experience in public practice accounting
  • Degree qualified (or near completion) in Accounting or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eagerness to learn and build a long-term career in accounting
  • Experience with Xero (desirable but not essential)
