Client Services Officer/Junior Paraplanner

Our client is a successful and well established professional services firm that specialises in accounting and financial advice, located on Brisbane's city fringe. 

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Client Services Officer or Junior Paraplanner to join their team. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team, working alongside other CSO's, supporting a team of Financial Advisers. You will receive training in paraplanning and transition into a junior paraplanner role.

• Provide full support to the Directors and assist other advisers when necessary 
• Handle compliance processes - FDS and annual agreements 
• Full implementation of advice
• Managing the client database (Xplan)
• Complete investment portfolio reconciliations
• Manage projects - e.g. bulk client updates/communications
• Follow up with clients/product providers
• Ad-hoc administration duties and assist with client queries
• Liaise with offshore admin team
• Be trained in paraplanning and begin writing ROA and SOA documents 

• 2+ years previous experience in a CSO/financial planning support position - paraplanning experience will be highly regarded
• Relevant degree is favourable but not mandatory
• Experience using Xplan
• Familiar with various areas of financial advice such as superannuation, personal insurance, investments, retirement planning 
• Experience with FDS and fee agreement processes
• Previous experience completing implementation of advice
